Baltasar REVOLT R Concept unveiled at Automobile Barcelona 2025

The Baltasar REVOLT is by far the most radical street-legal car focused purely on the thrill of sporty driving. Can it get more extreme? Yes—it’s called the Baltasar REVOLT R.

The Spanish manufacturer of luxury all-electric track-focused supercars has unveiled the REVOLT R Concept as a world premiere at Automobile Barcelona 2025 International Motor Show. This new prototype is an extreme evolution of the original REVOLT, developed exclusively for racetrack use.

While the original REVOLT—introduced in 2021—enters the final stage of international homologation ahead of its commercial launch in 2026, the development team led by the engineer and entrepreneur Baltasar López has simultaneously been developing an even more radical, aerodynamically optimized version designed for maximum on-track performance.

The REVOLT R Concept features an aggressive aerodynamic package that includes a bespoke front end, splitter, side skirts, and a large active rear wing with a DRS system. The driver can activate and deactivate the DRS from the steering wheel, complementing the existing large diffuser. The interior is a single-seat configuration, with an FIA-homologated carbon racing seat, removable Formula-style steering wheel, and single-nut magnesium wheels fitted with slick tires.

Both the street-legal REVOLT and the track-only REVOLT R are developed entirely at Baltasar’s headquarters in Cerdanyola del Vallès and will be hand-built at a new production facility in Sant Cugat del Vallès (Barcelona).

Like the original model, the REVOLT R is handcrafted from carbon fiber and features a FIA-compliant chromoly steel safety cage. Its racing suspension setup—with double wishbones and pushrods made from carbon fiber, Kevlar, and aerospace-grade aluminum—ensures an ultra-lightweight design (just 800 kg) and outstanding dynamic behavior.

The REVOLT R is fully electric and powered by a high-performance battery specifically developed for the car in collaboration with MILLOR BATTERY, another technology company led by Baltasar López. Thanks to its advanced architecture, the battery can be recharged to 80% in just 5 minutes using DC fast chargers, in partnership with charging infrastructure leader Enchufing.

Each REVOLT is built by hand, tailored to the specifications of each individual customer, ensuring a unique and timeless creation.

There is currently no confirmed launch date or official price for the production version of this track-only machine, but estimates place it around €450,000.
